About The EC420 Excavator
The Volvo EC420 Series Excavator is also known as the Ackerman EC420 as well. Ackerman began making machinery in the 1930s and continued until joining forces with Volvo International. The tracks are powered by an axial piston hydraulic motor that gives strength and agility for navigating all types of terrain. There is an adjustable suspension and headrest for the operator’s seat and easy access to controls and panels inside the cab. They don’t make them like the Volvo EC420 Series Excavator any more.
