About The Hitachi ZX80 Excavator
The Hitachi ZX80 has a tractor-type undercarriage and a durable welded track frame. The lubricated track rollers, idlers, and sprockets are made with the best materials and come with floating seals. The sturdy track shoes have triple grousers that are made of induction-hardened rolled alloy and Hitachi has flat and triangular shoes that are also available. Each of the Hitachi ZX80 tracks are driven by two speed axial piston motor that goes through a planetary reduction gear to allow for counterrotation of the tracks. There is a travel “shock-less” relief valve that is built into the travel motor and absorbs shocks when travel is stopped. The Hitachi ZX80 is built tough.

ZX80 Track Assembly
PIVOT offers track group assemblies as well as individual track chains. Our track chains come either greased or sealed and lubricated in Standard or Heavy Duty options. All track groups can be assembled prior to shipment for your convenience and ease of install.

We supply a variety of arrangements when it comes to your machine’s track shoes that have been designed and tested for your specific application. All of our track pads come either with a single, double or triple grouser setup. You also have the option of with or without mud-holes, standard or extreme service, along with various widths.
