Caterpillar 235 Excavator
The Cat 235 hydraulic excavator/front shovel has a 3306 turbocharged, six-cylinder engine producing 195 flywheel horsepower (FWHP). It comes standard with a variable flow hydraulic system, hydrostatic drive, and oil disc brakes. Later front shovel units introduced the D-size undercarriage. Next came the 235B model, with the 4ED and 1FD units introducing a heavy-duty carbody strong enough to be used as a front shovel, mass excavator, or special application vehicle. The Cat 235B comes standard with travel circuit pressure, drawbar pull, and standard 30-inch (76-cm) double grouser shoes. The 235C, a 250 FWHP model, introduced a counterweight of 17,000 pounds (7,650 kg) for trencher configuration. Continuing the improvements, the 235D added heavier track links and increased swing torque, until production ended in 1994. With regular care & maintenance, these 235 crawler excavators continue to tackle both large and small applications to this day. We supply a variety of arrangements when it comes to your machine’s track shoes that have been designed and tested for your specific application. All of our track pads come either with a single, double or triple grouser setup. You also have the option of with or without mud-holes, standard or extreme service, along with various widths.
