About The Caterpillar 225 Excavator
Like it’s predecessor, the Caterpillar 225D has two different engine configurations: the American unit has a Cat 3208 engine producing 165 flywheel horsepower (FWHP) while the Belgian unit has a 3304 engine producing 150 FWHP. The 225D comes standard with a cab fuel gauge, a Bostrom 411 seat, high-pressure hydraulic tubes, increased hydraulic pressure, and a redesigned center core, carbody, boom, and stick. It also has increased productivity in truck loading and deep trenching.
